Deadly Car Fire on I-25 Near 84th Avenue Claims One Life
In the early hours of Monday, July 28, 2025, tragedy struck on northbound Interstate 25 near 84th Avenue when a single-vehicle crash resulted in a fatality and a subsequent car fire. The collision occurred around 4:20 a.m. when the driver reportedly lost control and crashed into a wall along the highway. Upon impact, the vehicle caught fire and quickly became engulfed in flames.
Emergency crews responded swiftly to the scene but were unable to save the vehicle’s only occupant, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The intense blaze required fire crews to temporarily shut down several northbound lanes of I-25 during the height of the morning commute.
